Konnichiwa dear readers. I just found out that there is Sakura Matsuri (cherry blossom festival) in Gion Higashi in the near future. Here is the poster I just found.

Also, please do not forget that today is the day of Kaishi Chou's Odori. I will take a video and post it here later today/ tomorrow.

Ozashiki in Gion Higashi

Konnichiwa dear readers. Today there was an Ozashiki in Gion Higashi. Unfortunately, I missed it.
But I was given some pictures and a video about the Ozashiki. I will edit and upload the video here by tomorrow.

There were Mamehana-san, Reika-chan, Reiko-san and Yuriko-san of Mitsuhana.

Haru! Spring!

Konnichiwa everyone!
The spring is finally here, especially in Gion Higashi. I met Reika-chan and Momoka-san today.
They were decorating the sim, which looks wonderful at this time of the year.

Trees are green and soon flowers will be blossoming. Too bad that the Yume, or plum trees will not blossom long.

Soon it will be time for all kinds of Spring Odori, perhaps we will get to see Kyo Odori, or even Miyako odori, like in one of the previous years. This time I wouldn't miss it though!

Gion Higashi

Konnichiwa dear readers.
Today I was kindly invited to Gion Higashi to meet with Reika-chan and a lovely young shikomi.
I am very pleased to see that the second life karyukai keeps growing, perhaps into what it once in the past was.

The spring is arriving and sims are being decorated with sakura blossoms and beautiful flowers. It feels so good to realise that the snow is mostly gone!

Omisedashi + Omisedashi + Omisedashi

Konnichiwa everyone!

Things have been very slow with second life karyukai lately, unfortunately. There are very few O-zashiki available, unless you will pay for private O-zashiki (Geisha banquet). And most of those available O-zashiki are in the wrong time zone for me.

But this week has been busier than usually. I saw notices of 3 Omisedashi (debut).
One in Hanafusa of Miyagawa-cho, run by Okaasan Kikuyuu,
the second one in Little Yoshiwara Okiya, and one in a small Okiya called Mikami.

Little Yoshiwara will host an Odori (dance performance) and some kind of special O-zashiki due to the debut later on this weekend. You might want to join those events if you are interested in debuting new maiko.

Oh, and the Mikami debut. I am not completely sure where it was, because Mikami currently doesn't have a hanamachi, which is understandable in these days. But I did see some pictures of it and they all looked very beautiful.
